Clay pot yogurt

July 11, 2010

Last week, a friend introduced me to clay pot yogurt-yogurt that you order from a street vendor and drink through a straw. The yogurt is kept cold inside a brown clay pot clovered by waxed paper. You punch a hole throught the top and drink it rather than eating with a spoon. It’s like fast food on the go yogurt, except that the clay pots have to be returned to the vendor (sad) so you can’t take it away.

I love these little guys! The yogurt is creamy and smooth with a tart, tangy and slightly sweet flavor. I could drink one everyday.
