Sleepy in Saluda

July 5, 2011

This week I’m spending time with my family in a sleepy town called Saluda. There’s not a whole lot to do here and that’s just fine with me.

Our mornings are filled with long walks around town, finding something curious and new every day.

Taking in the fresh mountain air and the glorious, ripe vegetation.

It’s so green here.

This week I’m pretty much unplugged- free from the hustle and bustle of my everyday world. And I don’t miss it one bit.

But not to worry, I’ll be back as soon as I can with more on our Saluda 4th of July celebration and scenes from upcoming Coon Dog Day. Should be good!

Hope everyone had a festive July 4th!

If you need me, I’ll be napping.

Looks like a great place to recharge. I can’t wait to read about what you’re eating/cooking down in North Carolina!
