Because cherries are in season. I have quite a thing for these sweet and tangy fruits.
My fridge is ready to burst. I’ve been eating these beauties morning, noon and night- and in the hours in between. And guess what. Chocolate makes them even better.
Ingredients: Adapted from All Recipes
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup self-rising flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup good cherry jam
1/2 cup chopped cherries
1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased baking pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
Light as air and super moist.
