Butter Me Up

Now that it’s officially unsafe to eat pretty much any form of peanut butter from any source (http://www.fda.gov/oc/opacom/hottopics/salmonellatyph.html#recalls) , you need a healthy alternative! Have no fear, almond butter is here and it’s delicious. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Almond_butter

You can find almond butter at your local grocery store or places like Whole Foods and Trader Joes. It’s smooth and creamy just like peanut butter, but has a milder, richer flavor and is a little thinner in texture. Spread it on toast, waffles or graham crackers for a sweet treat!
