me & goji!

June 10, 2009

I know a lot of you have been seeing the me & goji cereal all over other food blogs, but I just had to share with you the special mix that we received from me & goji. On me & goji’s website, you can mix a number of different ingredients to make your own special cereal and it won’t break the bank. You can pick from a cereal base of artisanal flakes, granola, seeds, fruits, and nuts! You can choose from a variety of dried fruit like golden raisins, raspberries, apples, bananas, strawberries, and more!

For this mix, we tried the artisanal flakes with added walnuts, dried raspberries, and dried blueberries. I really liked the artisanal flakes- they were crunchy and very wholesome tasting! I also LOVED the dried raspberries- they taste like little sweet gummies and there are a lot of them. The one critique I could give is that I wish I had picked a different fruit than dried blueberries- they were TINY although I must say there were a lot of them. Next time- I’m thinking bananas or strawberries! Last but not least, how cool is the container- it’s the perfect size for my mini cabinets :) Thanks Me & Goji!

Finally, I would definitely recommend me & goji. Although its a tad more expensive than buying cereal at the store, it is so fun to be able to make your own combinations with healthy ingredients. I WILL be ordering in the near future- I love to experiment!
