I’m on a breakfast blog kick lately! I’m desparately trying to make breakfast fun and new and exciting enough to actually eat! I am not a big fan of breakfast and usually I need something sweet, satisfying, but not too heavy to get me going in the morning. Breakfast is my way of warming up to food, of easing into lunch and dinner (my favorite meal of the day). This yogurt and granola combo is one of my good old standbys.
I use greek Yogurt-Fage brand. Greek yogurt is slightly tangy and thicker than regular, runny yogurt. It’s also got more calcium and fewer calories. I like my yogurt to have a crunch, so I add Bear Naked Fit granola and top it off with a drizzle of honey. I love the sweetness, zippiness and crunchiness of the combination. It’s a quick breakfast that takes just a moment to fix and even less time to eat!
