I’ve been hearing a lot about Siggi’s yogurt lately and have been meaning to try it for a while now. Everyone’s talking about it- creamy, Icelandic yogurt that tastes as though it descended from Heaven. I love yogurt, so I just had to give it a try.
Ooooh, so creamy.
Whoa, tasted a little bitter and “farm fresh.” A bit of granola and some agave sweetened it right up.
Ah, yes. That’s better, a delicious breakfast!
Good stuff! Maybe next time I’ll try a flavored one.

Siggie’s is the BEST! The flavors are amazing and I love the low sugar content…Fresh and delicious!
I LOVE THIS TASTY TREAT!!!!!!!
i’ve never heard of this, my husband loves the bitterness of greek yogurt, so this would probably taste even better to him. as for me, i prefer sweet!
Also, I don’t know how “plain” his skyr is. But it should be very very sour
not just “a little bitter”.
Yes, sour is a good description for it, though it didn’t offend my palate.
Hey, as an Icelander I can tell you how to traditionally eat Sky (Siggi is the name of the guy who makes this product).
Okay, so, traditionally you put skyr in a bowl and mix with granulated sugar and then pour either milk or heavy cream (or a mix of the two) on the skyr. Then you try to get both skyr and milk(or cream) in every spoon.

Best regards,
Ásbjörn the Icelander.
This is great! I’d love to try eating it this way, I bet that would change the whole experience. Thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome!
did i read “skyr” on that label? i watched an entire episode on the food network once totally dedicated to that dairy delight.
Yes, it is Skyr yogurt. Pretty good stuff!
I think I tried Siggi’s once but don’t remember if I liked it or not. I’m heading to Earth Fare tomorrow so I’ll have to pick some up!
It has more bite than your average plain yogurt, hopefully you’ll like it!
I ate Siggi’s before I had to cut-out dairy. Awesome stuff!
Sorry you had to cut out dairy, but that’s not really a bad thing. I definitely work hard at limiting my dairy intake.
