Cocoa Butter

by Jennifer on March 24, 2009

Recently, I’ve been rubbing cocoa butter on my scar so that it will heal less visible. You may not know it, but cocoa butter is a natural moisturizer that can be used as lotion, and rubbed on stretch marks or scars. It is so moisturizing because it is actually a pure vegetable fat- yes, it’s edible! I especially love using it because not only does it make my skin feel great, it smells like chocolate…yummm! Also, cocoa butter is a main ingredient in most finer chocolate products. The rule of thumb is the more cocoa butter in the chocolate, the better it melts. You can find cocoa butter in the food aisle or the beauty isle because it has so many uses!180px-cocoa_butter_p1410148
