Tonight Travel Channel’s Food Wars will feature the infamous DC jumbo slice. Two local pizza vendors will compete in the food challenge featuring none other than DC’s culinary icon Carla Hall of Top Chef. I’m interested to see how judging goes considering that jumbo slice is at peak deliciousness when the consumer is completely bombed…and ravenous. Can’t say I’ve enjoyed a sober slice myself.
