Best Blender

by Jennifer on December 31, 2008

For Christmas, my boyfriend gave me a Kitchenaid Immersion Blender. At first, I wasn’t so sure I would like it…I really wanted a food processor, but after using it just once, I am hooked and must share my enthusiasum for this product. It is an ingenius kitchen appliance! It is easy to use, effective and a HUGE time saver. I recently used my blender to puree the cauliflower and potato soup that I made (http://www.keepitsimplefoods.com/2008/12/creamy-cauliflower-and-potato-soup.html) and was extremely impressed with the ease of achieveing creamy, well-blended soup. I didn’t have to pour any ingredients from a hot pot into a blender, so I didn’t have to cleanup all the ingredients that I otherwise would have spilled all over the counter, sink and kitchen floor. I also didn’ t risk burning myself. The blender itself was easy to clean. What’s even better, you can use it to blend almost anything- milkshakes, soups, sauces, chop eggs, make baby food..whatever! So, thank you Nick for my awesome blender! I owe all my well blended recipes to you! http://www.kitchenaid.com/catalog/product.jsp?src=Immersion+Blenders&cat=208&prod=1958

I’ve had one of these blenders for years and I like it, especially for milkshakes! What a nice Christmas gift!
