Chicken & noodles

Lots of noodles going on this week, what can we say, we loooove pasta! I found this recipe for Teriyaki chicken on allrecipes and I had to try it. I think the recipe turned out great, there was lots of flavor! I used organic free range chicken breasts instead and I think they only needed to be cooked for about 25 minutes at 375, so I’m going to keep a better eye on them next time. I also added some red pepper flakes and sprinkled on some sesame seeds for fun.

I wanted to do a quick side so I used Annie Chun’s soy & ginger noodles. I mixed in carrots, scallions, red pepper and broccoli. I love Annie Chun’s products because they are all-organic and preservative free. The sauce was super light and I loved that it didn’t completely drown the noodles in sauce, but still had a great flavor. It only took minutes to do- perfect for a week night dinner.

Thanks Coco! I actually just have a Canon power shot, which is in the $100-$200 range. It works really well of course when there’s natural light and I put it in the Macro setting to get the close up shots :)
