Food and fun in Charlotte, NC

June 26, 2010

Last weekend, my boyfriend and I traveled down south to Charlotte, NC for an engagement party. We had a wonderful time catching up with friends and family. And of course, we dined at a few fantastic places that I highly recommend. I’ve posted highlights below.

Fresh pizza and salads at Mama Ricotta’s

Ahi tuna salad with wasabi dressing and crispy wontons at 300 East
P6190249

An italian feast at Vivace.

For me, Vivace was the food highlight of the trip. The service was impeccable and the food was quintessential italian comfort food. Think-limoncello cocktails, gooey cheese ravioli, marinated olives, warm bread, fluffy pasta and lots of wine! It was a perfect meal.

I had the opportunity to eat at Vivace Trattoria this past weekend & must say I thoroughly enjoyed everything about the meal & dining experience as a whole. The food was outstanding & well presented, and most importantly the service was excellent.
