La Tomate

January 12, 2009

Have you ever walked by that alluring Italian resto located at the peninsula between 20th and Connecticut Ave NW? It’s a charming cafe that is always packed full of people who resemble “real grown-ups.” Every time that my friend Emma comes to town, she goes on and on about how much she wants to eat there, so this weekend when she came to visit, we decided to check it out! I must say that even after all the build up we were not disappointed. The food was incredible. It was simple, fresh and full of flavor. The pasta was Add Imagehomemade ( you really can tell a difference), the service was friendly and the price was just right. The prices ranged from $8 antipasta/salads to $20 entrees. I highly recommend it. Prego!
