VACE!

If you are in the Cleveland Park neighborhood of D.C., you will already know VACE. But, if you aren’t, you really must stop by, if not for the pizza, for the sandwiches or their frozen pasta.

Located on Connecticut Ave, about a 5 minute walk from the subway, this pizza shop has the best pizza around. Coming from me, this is a big deal because I have always been a pizza snob. Growing up in NY, right outside of NYC, I’ve had the pleasure of tasting some truly amazing pizza.

Whenever I get the hankering for a good pizza, we go to VACE! Not only is the pizza unconventional- the sauce is on top and the cheese is on the bottom, it has a tiny crust. However, it is VERY crispy on the bottom, the mozzerella cheese is softly dropped on top with spots that just melt in your mouth. The sauce is sweet and the perfect amount is applied.

The best part about visiting VACE, is that the price is about $10 for a large cheese pizza. That’s amazing! Although they do not deliver, you can easily pick it up. However, if you are coming on a friday night- good luck, you can wait for a while.

Also, check out their other items. They also sell frozen pasta and cheese- I LOVE their cheese ravioli - they truly taste homemade and have the perfect blend of cheeses. They also sell a nice variety of wines for fair prices. So, it is a great place to stop if you want to pick up items to prepare an italian meal quickly.

Hope you stop by and enjoy!
