I am SO tired tonight because I just got back from my sort of late flight, but I had to post a few tidbits about my trip to athens, georgia. I have to say for a small town, there is great food and LOTS of personality. If you ever go to athens, there are many venues that have live music and you should check out the national for really yummy food. Athens is a great place to spend time with family and friends!
Check out the cupcake my mom made- I could not resist having one of these! She used this recipe from cooking light and they were flavorful and moist. This may be the new cupcake recipe that I will go to because I love dark chocolate! Use your favorite icing recipe for the cupcake- she used a white buttercream.
Also- our little dog ally says hello- she can barely peek over the kitchen table! How cute and cuddly is she!?
Hopefully I will get back to posting this week- lots of groceries and lots of cooking is ahead of me. Thanks for checking back in!
