I had a snack which consisted in chips and they were not potatoes and the seller told me it was made of turnip...(fried I guess) and the taste is delicious. Maybe.. it's true but I couldn't find a clue in the internet about it.
I always eat chipped turnip in my salad combined with chipped carrot and I like it because it is healthy (it has vitamin C ) and somehow my eyes are better than before and I guess this salad is the responsible of that.... but once you chip the turnip you can't keep it for hours because it will taste bad... so you have to eat it in the next 15 minutes I guess (when it is raw, I mean).

Love turnips (or all root vegetables for that matter). Turnips are also great mixed into mashed potatoes. A great ravioli filling too!
