I love mushrooms and the other day I was desperate for mushrooms with a ramped up flavor. I whipped up this recipe in no time and it didn’t disappoint.
Ingredients:
1 carton sliced mushrooms
1 tblsp extra virgin olive oil
a splash of balsamic vinegar
cracked black pepper
Directions: Heat evoo over medium high heat in a small pot (be sure to use a pot with a lid). Add mushrooms, stir and allow to cook for about 2 min. Add splash of balsamic vinegar, stir, place lid on pot and turn off the heat. Leave on the lid, allowing the mushrooms to steam for a few extra minutes, until tender. Season with black pepper and serve as a side dish.
